As part of Altius Building Company’s Construction Management services, we develop cost estimates as per the various plan types we receive. Our estimating system generates fast, accurate estimates summarized in our comprehensive spreadsheet format. This estimating system allows us to accurately track design progress and changes as well as tracks the various phases in relation to the overall project budget. With this information, the project management team can make informed decisions regarding design, scheduling, and cash flow issues. We continuously search for value enhancing cost reductions throughout design and construction with all cost savings being returned to the owner.

Altius Building Company does not self-perform any tradework, which we feel is in the best interest of our clients. Additionally, we are not signatory to any construction labor contracts. As such, we avoid distractions with managing a separate labor force and its respective profit.

Being a Merit Shop contractor, Altius is able to solicit bids from for each project contract with both union and non-union trade contractors. This flexibility affords us an expanded list of quality subcontractors that best fit the requirements of each individual project. Our unique position in the industry allows us to focus on managing a client’s project, rather than our profits.
