Ultra Tool & Manufacturing

Ultra Tool & Manufacturing retained our services in order to construct a new office and manufacturing facility for the designer/machiner of precision metal stamping dies and manufacturer of intricate stamped parts. The tool making room, designed for six 2-ton job cranes and a 5-ton overhead crane, has specialized areas for laser cutting, wire EDM cutting and grinding. The production stamping area has 22”-0 clear inside height to permit a 5-ton bridge crane to travel over stamping presses. An “L” shaped facility proved to be the best design solution to take the greatest advantage of a view of a wooded area while maximizing truck access. This configuration creates a central “hub” where design, engineering, production control and purchasing department have ready access to both machining and production areas.

Altius also completed a 41,800 square foot renovation and a 84,940 square foot addition to Ultra’s Germantown office and manufacturing building.
