F Street Development Hosts Groundbreaking for Greenlink Residences

F Street Development announced today that they are officially breaking ground on the Greenlink Residences and a new village community green and rentable event space on Tuesday, May 11th, 2021, from 11am-1pm. While the new multifamily community has been under construction since late last fall, FSDG is hosting the groundbreaking during better weather conditions, after further recovery of the pandemic, and upon starting construction of the public green and rentable event space phase.

The development is situated directly to the south of the North Shore Fire Department on the former Village of Brown Deer’s Department of Public Works site (8705 N. Deerwood Drive, Brown Deer, WI 53209). This area was the former Village Center when it was founded in 1955. The new community will encompass three buildings and provide:

• Two, three-story multifamily buildings featuring an outdoor courtyard with a pool (“Greenlink Residences”);
• A community green and beer garden with rentable event space

Construction of the community green and beer garden / event space will be complete in Fall of 2021, while construction of the Greenlink Residences is anticipated to be completed Spring 2022. Altius Building Company is the Construction Manager, and is teamed with RINKA+ (Architects), on this development. Financing partners for the Greenlink Residences include: Tri City National Bank, REACH Business Lenders, and Capitol Bank.
